Biochemistry Researcher (HBO/BSc)
As a researcher, you are primarily responsible for the execution of various experiments in our Biotechnology department. You are able to work independently or in a team and communicate all the key issues to the team leader. You are highly motivated with hands-on mentality. You are flexible and do not posses 9-5 mentality.
Your letter of motivation and CV should show that you have:
- A biochemical background in both practice and education (preferably HBO/BSc),
- In posession of VMT certificate
- Preferably experience in a comparable position and/or work environment
- Practical experience with various biochemical methods (cloning, chromatography methods, etc.)
- A good command of Microsoft Office.
- A good command of the English language.

You can work independently on your experimental tasks and are able to co-operate with others on all other aspects in your work. You possess good communication skills, are flexible and motivated, you work hard and are willing to take over work from others.

Contract hours: full time (40h/week)

Who we are
EnzyPep is a start-up company, founded in July 2012 that focusses on the synthesis of pharmaceutical peptides using chemo-enzymatic methods in water as well as on novel strategies for the generation of protein conjugates. Using a unique combination of classical solution- and solid-phase synthesis of peptide fragments with subsequent enzymatic condensation of these peptide fragments, EnzyPep develops scalable methods for the synthesis of peptide API’s and protein-drug conjugates.
