Triage is an essential part of the care process; By deploying the right care in the right place and with the right urgency (speed of deployment), the health care system continues to function. But the capacity of acute care is also under pressure due to a shortage of skilled personnel and an increasing demand for care

Auxilio Healthcare Professionals expanded its activities last year with three Triage Support Centers under this increasing pressure. Namely in Bilthoven, Maastricht and Groningen. At these Triage Support Centers, extra healthcare personnel (mainly doctor's assistants, nurses and medical students) are trained as triagists. In order to then be able to provide remote (telephone) support within acute primary medicine and thus guarantee the accessibility of GP posts throughout the Netherlands.

In short, a unique support to overcome the increasing pressure on the emergency post and a very nice addition to our current activities within triage. The Triage Support Center immediately offers us the opportunity to develop our own learning centers and thus expand the healthcare market. The ideas of the ZCC (Care Coordination Center) are also being examined for expanding services outside of general practitioner care, including VVT (Nursing and Care Homes and Home Care), GGZ (Mental Health Care) and the emergency room.
