Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award

Brightlands connects with pioneers, their work and even their legacy. The Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award is an excellent example of this. Named after the pioneer who perished in a deadly crash, the polar explorer and scientist Marc Cornelissen, an annual award is presented to a researcher or scientist who knows how to inspire people on their way to creating a more sustainable world. The reward is a cash prize of 35,000 Euros earmarked for continued research.
