Would you like to learn tips and tricks to help you with your proposal writing?
Would you like to know what elements will be looked at in the review process?
Then attend the information session on the Veni and Vidi scheme on June 14!
On Tuesday June 14, from 12-14h, an information session will be held on the Veni and Vidi instrument of the Innovational Research Incentives Scheme of NWO/ZonMW.
A representative of NWO will introduce the schemes and give some information on the application process. A grant winner and a former committee member will share their experiences with the evaluation process and successful applications.
A large part of the session is furthermore dedicated to Questions & Answers, so if you have any questions on the scheme or writing an application, you can ask them to one of the experts. The session will be held in English.
If you want to attend the session, please register through this link before June 7, 12pm. You will be informed about the location after registration.
On Friday 1 July NWO is organizing an information meeting in The Hague for researchers that want to apply for a Veni, Vidi or Vici grant. Practical information will be given and laureates, selection committee members and NWO coordinators will share their experiences. The morning program is for the Humanities and Social Sciences and the afternoon program is for the Natural Sciences, Engineering and Life Sciences. The meetings will be held in English. If you want to attend, register on the NWO website. There you will also find further information about the sessions and a complete program.
UM Veni and Vidi Trainings
The UM offers trainings for both the Veni and the Vidi programme:
The ‘Grants for Individuals’ training is organized twice a year for young researchers (in the last year of their PhD up to three years after completion of their PhD) who want to apply for a competitive individual grant scheme (e.g. Veni, Marie Curie, Rubicon). The next training will run from September till December and is therefore ideal for researchers that want to apply for a Veni in January 2017. A limited number of participants can follow the training, so selection will take place. For registration for the training, contact your funding advisor. More information about the training will be posted in the UM newsletters soon.
In addition to the information session, there will also be ‘Workshops for Vidi proposals’. Actual proposals will be discussed with a dedicated trainer and fellow applicants. The workshops will be held in the beginning of September. There is a limited number of participants that can join the workshops, so selection will take place. If you are interested in applying for a Vidi application in October 2016 and want to participate in the workshops, please contact your funding advisor.
For further information about the UM information session or trainings, please contact your funding-advisor or send an email to email@example.com .
