Netherlands Enterprise Agency ( is a Dutch government Agency that encourages entrepreneurs in sustainable, agrarian, innovative and international business. It helps SME’s (also start-ups and scale ups) with grants, finding business partners, know-how and compliance with laws and regulations. The Agency works in The Netherlands and abroad with governments, knowledge centres, international organisations and countless other partners. During the Masterclass we will have a presentation by Mr. Nasrat Popal ((and one or two colleagues) about the supporting tools of for the start-ups and scale-ups and how they can help your company on national and international level. After their presentations you can ask them your questions and discuss the opportunities.

Profile of Mr. Nasrat Popal

Nasrath Popal is Program Coordinator Internationalization Start-ups & Scale-ups at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency ( Together with a team of professional colleagues Nasrat is responsible for a program designed to strengthen the positon of start-ups and scale-ups willing to do business abroad.
Nasrat has over 20 years of experience (in 50+ countries) in advising and facilitating companies and organizations to achieve their international goals and ambitions. Before working with the start-ups Nasrat worked in different positions at and other places - always in the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation and public private partnerships, focussing on the High-Tech Industry. Next to his work at Nasrat is also a fellow lecture and mentor at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where he tutors and mentors young tech students on entrepreneurship and international business communication. Nasrat is himself an entrepreneur. He has founded and successfully managed two companies.
