First race car from Limburg competing at Silverstonejuly 17, 2017
Project FUZE is the Formula Student race car team from the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences at Heerlen (NL). Together with over 40 incredibly involved partners, 85 Zuyd University students build their very own sustainable race car. The self-supporting hull of the car is made of PLA, a biodegradable alternative to plastic and was entirely 3D printed at Brightlands Chemelot Campus. The car will be put extensively tested on the famous Silverstone Circuit in Great Britain, July 20-23. The race consists of various competitions ranging from endurance tests to speed and agility.
