Hack 4 Smart Services 'Interaction of the Future' Hackathon

Register now to participate in the Hackathon on 12, 13 and 14 May at the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen.

Registration is open to students and professionals, working alone or in teams. We are not only looking for IT students; students from other programs are just as welcome to attend!

The Hackathon challenges are:

  • Communication of the Future
  • Ethical trading of the future
  • Advice of the future
  • Citizen of the future

During the hackathon you will tackle one of the challenges above using technology. In a small team of 4-6 people, you come up with a solution and work out a proof-of-concept and business plan. Throughout the weekend coaches will help you with different aspects: how to use smart technology, set up experiments, analyze data and build algorithms, write software, make a business case and pitch your idea.

Awards
In addition to cash awards of 1500, 1000 and 500 Euros, a variety of high-tech gadgets, five tickets to the Castle of Love music festival, and five tickets to the Pinkpop music festival will also be up for grabs during the Hack4SmartServices: Interaction of the Future Hackathon at the Brightlands Smart Services Campus.
