Thailand has become over the years an important medical hub for Asia and is now the world’s largest medical tourism market. Backed by state-of-the-art facilities and technologies, internationally certified medical services, excellent medical expertise, highly qualified medical professionals, and a wide range of high-standard hospitals, Thailand offers leading edge technological infrastructure. Based on this success new opportunities have arisen for further growth in other related fields in life science. Over the last decade, progressive developments have been made in sectors such as medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare thus transforming Thailand into a knowledge-based and high value-added economy. As a result, the country has become an excellent location for foreign life sciences companies many of which already have chosen Thailand to be their hub for SE Asia.
