Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award 2018 is looking for a winner

april 25, 2018

Do you have what it takes to win the 2018 Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award? Perhaps you know someone who satisfies the winning criteria: someone who looks beyond geographic, scientific and organizational borders and who is working to create a more sustainable world through connecting leadership. If so, make this person aware of the award and that registration is now open.

The Marc Cornelissen | Brightlands Award is an incentive prize and consists of a memento as well as a cash prize of €35,000. The second Marc Cornelissen | Brightlands Award will be presented on October 11 in Maastricht. The prize is named after Marc Cornelissen, a sustainability pioneer and polar explorer who passed away in 2015.

You will find all of the information and the registration form here.

Last year, Martine Bouman became the first person to win the Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award. She is a special professor of Entertainment Media and Social Change at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and academic director and founder of the Media & Health Center in Gouda.
