Cultured Meat

Over 22,000 scientists, entrepreneurs, students and the province work together on the Brightlands campuses to make the world a more sustainable and healthier place. One example of how they do this is by making countless hamburgers from the stem cells of one cow: this cultured meat from the lab is an alternative source of nutrition that doesn’t involve an environmental impact or animal suffering. It’s good for the well-being of the global population and the growth of the regional economy.
